Default Just exhaust questions

Ok so I did a search but all of the info is 2+ years old. Dynomax is looking like the brand I'd like to go with. I don't want drone at freeway speeds but a little blub-dub always sounds good at idle. Any suggestions? I've read the Dynomax VT Muffler is drone free on the highway. Does this muffler come in one of the cat-back kits? I really want the OEM look. So stainless tips would be the correct finish right?

I think the Dynomax system has 2.5" stainless tips, but that should be close enough to the original 2.25" size that most folks would never notice (unless they are a MCA judge of course!). Cannot comment about the VT mufflers personally, but I remember reading that folks liked them (but we all know that sound is subjective).

another vote for the Dynomax sets if you go aftermarket.

I still have some additional NOS sets that I am trying to get reproductions made on by a local race car chassis builder. He says he can duplicate factory stuff perfectly from the muffler back using stainless material. R@D has begun...... Stay tuned.

I wish I could find a NOS set. The Dynomax situation is frustrating. I'd like to buy the 2.25" kit but it doesn't have the SS tips. Doesn't make sense to me. I hate to settle for an incorrect item.
