Thanks for posting that one up, Sam. In terms of Jim's question, none of the CHP cars were automatics, but that doens't mean that a subsequent owner didn't change things around. At least we know range of VIN's for the 82 CHP's, so it would be pretty easy to verify this car as a real CHP Mustang rather than the slang term used in parts of California for a Mustang notchback.
