Default Tracking down history of my new SSP

Greetings all, first post on here.

Im hoping some of you who know a lot about these cars perhaps can assist me in tracking down the history of my car. Its a 1989 SSP Mustang, original VIN was 1FABP40E6KF205142. It is a rebuilt title, new assigned VIN is 2BGW0616XKF205142. It was purchased by me privately in Vancouver, BC. I found am auction listing for it as a movie car with that rebuild VIN, but nothing from the original VIN yet.

The car is repainted a metallic blue, however Im unsure of the original colour. If the hood is original, it may have been a white car. Doors are replaced from a green car. All other parts have been painted well enough that I cant see the underlying colour. If it helps, its a 5 speed with gray interior and power windows/mirrors/lumbar seats.

Any info anyone can dig up would be greatly appreciated!!

If you still have your buck tags attached they will tell you the agency that ordered it (with a few exceptions) Other than that is a Marti report of the original vin. I would tell you to look for the build sheet but that's probably long gone.

Welcome! The bucktags are on the core support typically behind a headlight. Show some pics.

Looks like it was in a batch of 5 others, but no other info.

Run a Marti on the vin and you might get a clue to DSO and dealership that handled the order.

Check my post from 05-26-2017 in this same section.
Car was black and in need of a lot of work. It was at a body shop in Port Kells.
Check the different VINs on the paper tags around the body. The original VIN had been ripped from the dash and "owner" was reluctant to show me the Reg with the ICBC assigned VIN. Also said it was X-RCMP...No Way!
He didn't want to spend any more money on it by doing a paint job, he needed space in his lot. The roof & trunk lid had severe "hail"? damage that could be "polished out". I could see daylight through the driver side floor. Doors were Calypso green.
The spotlight was from a Crown Vic (longer)
If you were to media blast this car, I think you would be second guessing your purchase. Body work & paint can hide a lot! Sorry.

The Marti report says the car came from Central Canada DSO. Its listed as a 1989 LX, black, was ordered w/radio delete, HD battery, and 2.73 trac lok. Does this mean it is, in fact, a civilian mustang? The trac lok, radio delete, and battery seem consistent with what patrol cars would've had, but I'm not sure if they would appear as 'SSP' on a Marti. Can anyone advise?

The marti should have listed it as having the SSP option if it is an SSP.

What should it look like on the form? Ran the VIN of a confirmed SSP as well, and it showed up as an LX 2 door too.

Are the Deluxe Marti reports the only ones that provide the detail of the "special Service Package"? That's what I see on mine and they are all Deluxe.
