Default Special Service EEC Puter

I have read that the SSP Mustangs have a different engine control processer then the stock Mustangs... Is this true??? The number is A9T?? Curious... I have not looked at mine.... I know of a A9L and A9P but never heard of this other processor... My '84 LTD that has been retrofitted to the S.E.F.I. and has a '93 processor C3W1.... I just ordered a A0P for it... The A9L is for the Manual trans., and the others are for the automatic..
