Sad days in Missouri
In case you folks haven't heard, we here in Mo. have lost 2 troopers these past 3-4 days.
One was on vacation in WY-MT and was hiking with his wife. He went on alone and his body was found, after he didn't return, at bottom of a cliff by park rangers. The other one was on duty and working at a state park in NW MO. with his K-9 partner. Story goes the dog must have gotten in the flooding of the MO River and was swept away. Best guess was the trooper jumped in to save his partner and is lost. Update this AM, K-9's body found, but no trooper. Officer Guthrie's dedication to his K-9 partner is commendable to say the least. Hope all you stangers will pray for his safe return!!! "Thanks all" |

This year has been an extrememly bad one for LODDs (and other crazy incidents, too).
