Default FORD Records

I recently wrote a email to FORD about getting a list/copy of my cars original options They sent me a letter which listed all the options but nothing said SSP package- it also listed the motor as a 351 V 8?
I emailied them back about this, today I got a call from them. They told me the 351 was a mistake, but they also found that there was a problem in their archives department. Seems it would not show a car was a SSP package when they checked a VIN.
She told me this was now corrected and they would send me a new option list for my vehicle showing the options and SSP package. I will keep you posted when I get it. Ben

Ben,

IIRC, those are the History 999 reports. If so, they are known for being pretty inaccurate.

Marti is currently processing reports for the 4 eyed cars, so maybe the aeros will be next.

Thanks very much, I heard they had problems with them, but I was surprised when they called me to say the would correct it and told me they found a problem about listing SSP's. She said the would send out a new report on the car. So its just a wait and see at this point. It would be nice if Marti did do the reports on the car. Thanks Ben

Marti Auto has their Standard, Deluxe, and Elite "Marti Reports" through '79, and is working on them for '80 and later. They also have "Eminger Invoices" shown as available through the '81 model year, and are working on later years. Don't know how much past '81 they have. They had '82 through '86 posted for sale but removed them a couple months ago.

Got the reply in the mail, it is in letter form but shows all the info about the car. Build date, where it was built and all options on the car. It does list the SSP package as an option . Ben
