Default What color???

Are the valve covers and intake on a Mustang EFI. It looks greenish, is that the color or is that what happens after time?

I remember a thread about this somewhere....but not sure which website. It's a grayish color.

The valve covers on one of my cars turned a greenish color after a while.

If I'm not mistaken the covers were bare until around 1990. I just checked everything I have and the newest Mustang 5.0 I have is a late 1989 and the covers are bare. I have a 90 LSC and they are bare. Doug

That's what I thought too. I know the upper intake is a silver gray color like on the valve cover above.

So the intake is that dull gray that turns greenish after time. I'm going to bead blast my valve covers and then clear them with a satin clear to keep them clean. Thanks Guys.
