Default 89 NHP progress

Hey whats up everyone. I've been working on gathering parts for my 89 NHP and I just wanted to share my CL find. I was at work last night and right before hitting the sack I jumped onto CL to see if there where any new parts being offered here in the SF bay area. This is what I found.

1989 MUSTANG GT HEADLIGHT HOUSING
1989,"MINT CONDITION"MUSTANG 5.O. GT,(3)PEICE OEM HEAD LIGHT HOUSING(R&L SIDE)

The previous owner said he bought the Mustang brand new in 89 and immediately installed the "black out" headlight covers. Then 7 years ago he removed these OEM headlights and installed Xenon headlights(some type of Euro look). So these have been in a box for 7 years and covered by another plastic for the years prior to that. These headlights are really clean. No yellow tint, fading, cracking. Patience paid off on this one. Now if I can just find an 89 4cyl donor for blue interior.

I paid $200 for them. The guy was very aware of what they are and the condition they are in. I was comfortable buying these in this condition for this price. Any input???

Very nice! They look much better than the repops. Just don't have the same look as original parts
