Default 5.0 engine help

Hello, I just pulled the engine out of my 1993 after 200,000 miles. I just got the crank and pistons in and the engine feels a little tight. I was woundering if anybody knew what the rolling torque should be. I am having trouble finding any info. Thanks

Trying to remember............want to say 20 to 25 ish. It should feel tighter than one with miles because the cylinders and rings are brand new which creates friction. Did you have it bored or just puff honed and reused the pistons?

I have a fresh 86 gt engine on the stand .30 over new pistons that is at 35 ft/lbs. my 87 ssp engine was puff honed using orig pistons and that engine torqued at 27 ft/lbs. I should add that those readings are with heads installed
Hope this helps
