damage to CHP 5305 pics
I finally got to take a pic of the scratch I accidently put into CHP 5305. Here is the original thread to that nightmare..
http://www.specialservicemustang.net...ead.php?t=1261 Anyway here is the pic of the damage. I got it to the body shop and asked for an estimate to fix the scratch and sand and paint the inside of the trunk (basecoat black-no clear in the trunk). Well to do both they gave me an estimate of 900 dollars. He said if I pay cash they will do it for 700. Its the shop that repairs all of our police cars at work. They want to not only sand and paint the area of the scratch, but they want to reclear the whole roof. Here is the trunk. I allready took a Scotch-Brite pad to it. Why the guy who painted the car didnt paint inside the trunk is beyond me. The rust is very minor and is just on the surface. The wires you see were there when I got the car. |

Ouch
"It could have been worse" is always a comforting fact, but in reality I feel your pain. Your car will be perfect again soon . Good Luck!
