Found this near my home.. rough outside, inside is tan, manual windows, has aftermarket tach on the steering column on top, square spotlight, antenna hole near the trunk on quarter panel and one on the trunk.. few holes on the top, i was stuck from an fence, called the owner but not at home. will find out more info on this. it's for sale.. 5 speed also.. its the diamond in the rough! it even have galls switch box on the dash near the odometer dash area..

heres the pics of it..

MJ,

if it is an 87 or 88 car I would like to snatch it for the collection. If it is an 89 I will not be interested. How much is he asking for it?

Jim,

I've tried to contact the owner twice today, no luck. I'll keep at it tomorrow and this week if no answer. I'll keep you posted and go from there.

Everyone, theres new pictures of it in much better quality pictures, please do maximize the viewing, you will see excellent details, even interior's condition, Galls switch board on the dash, aftermarket dash, even saw few holes on the radio area as i suspect, possibly an FHP unit but i dont understand why do it have 2nd hole on the rear and square design spotlight, should be circle type design spotlight to be an FHP.

Looks like the roof and doors were different than the rest of the car like CHP... The holes are wrong though for CHP and also I bet the spotlight was replaced with this after the round one got messed up...

What other states had a primary black car with the roof and doors painted different?

Great find!

That's what i wondered... could be a local sheriff car.. it's here in FL so it's no way to be an CHP. spotlight replacement is a possibility... it happened to be like 5 miles from my home on my usual route to work, spotted it right away by the spotlight, fading black wheels.

It may have started life as FHP, but the EMT sticker on the rear window could shed some light on where it went next. Are there two-tone EMT units near you?
