Default Ford service manuals

Who here has Ford service manuals for 1987 through 1993?

What I'm looking for is the list of DSOs in the front of the books.

A question came up in one of the facebook groups about DSO 56 buck tags from a 1993 unit. In the tech section here DSO 56 is listed as Davenport (IA) but I don't think that is correct. What I think happened is DSO 76 (Denver) was replaced by DSO 56 between the 1991 and 1992 model years. We have seen this before with DSO 17 being replaced by DSO 27 around the same time frame.

From the VIN Project:
DSO 76 = 1983-91 (Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming)
DSO 56 = 1992 (Utah)

Checked through all the data that I have in my 1979-95 database. Granted its not all of Ford's production data, it's only what I have collected through web forums, auction sites, ebay, etc.

I have seen DSO 56 from 1979 through 1981 and 1992+.
I have seen DSO 76 from 1979 through 1991.

In the early years DSO 56 does indeed seem to be Davenport (IA) and DSO 76 does indeed seems to be Denver (CO). It the later years it does seems that DSO 56 shifted West when DSO 76 disappeared.

Mick, I have the '89 Mustang Car Shop Manual for Body/Chassis/Electrical/Powertrain. Just wanted to pass on for '89 that DSO 76 lists Denver as the assigned District and DSO 17 lists Washington as the assigned District. This is on page 10-01-9 of the manual.

Hopefully one of the other members will have copies of the later year manuals so that the year of change/s can be verified. Good luck.

If you have any '89 data questions that may be answered in this manual give me shout, I'll be glad to try looking it up.

The 1987 manual lists 76 as Denver and has no 56 or Davenport DSO.
