We've already discovered two different shades of tan for the package trays. Is it not possible that some '82s got different hub caps?

Since what came on my car when I bought it are the Pinto hubcaps, that's what I've got to go with for now. If I could replicate the appropriate finish, that would be fine with me.

I'll be on the look out for the correct ones and will appreciate any leads.
The part numbers were confirmed by Ford (special parts lists) and CHP paperwork. The satin D8s are definitely correct.

They do come up on eBay from time to time.

Ahhh...the very rare "Sprint" package cap (blue stripe instead of black).

Should come right off with some paint remover.

I bought an NOS one back when I thought that they were correct...and figured I could just paint the blue black.

I don't know. I'll have to go out and investigate tomorrow

Interesting that the two with DSO's, have two different last digits...

Good find, Sam!

72-0103 is probably from a different vehicle (not a Mustang)

My dad is positive that all three came off the car, otherwise they wouldn't be together.

I think you guys would rather see our second 82
