Default FHP Jetsonic Specs

I was cruising around the FS website (benefits of having a cold) and found the original installation/maintenance instructions for the FHP Jetsonic (JS2). Below is a pic of the bar from the document, as well as the "proper" aiming points for the "parked" flashers. I learned something new...I've always seen them stop pointed to the front and rear, and not 45 degree angles. I'll upload both docs to the FHP resto section.

That will come in very handy. The Jet that I got was parked like the diagram and I took it apart to make it park pointing front and back I guess I'll be taking it apart again.

Bernie,

The only difference is the takedown location. Since the outer mirrors are removed, you can't really aim the front rotators at them. The manuals don't say what to do with that configuration and only show the full mirror version.

So do they still point to the side?

I would say that the back ones would, since the mirrors are there. It wouldn't make much sense for the fronts to be facing sideways, though. I was hoping that I'd find a picture of that particular setup, but no luck there.
