New SSP Owner Again
Well I did it again! I bought a SSP Mustang that I bought in 1998 and sold it when I moved to Florida. What a mistake I made. Anyway I just traveled 1100 Miles to transport this car to Florida and I am so happy.
I have a few questions if some of you could help. I know that my car was originally purchased by the Jefferson County Police Dept. in KY in 1984. It was used from 1984 to 1989 when it was sold at an auction. My questions are does anyone know anything about this agency's use and how many were ordered? I am Pretty sure it was used as traffic enforcement for the newly built Gene Snyder freeway in Louisville at that time. If anyone has info or pictures about this please feel free to contact me at jamesmichaelstewart@live.com Anyway back to the car. It is a 1984 Mustang L model not LX with a 5 speed. What I believe makes this car rare is that it was ordered with powere windows and door locks. I believe that it has all of the other standard options available at that time. The color is 5C dark cadet blue with B academy blue interior. When I bought the car years ago I swapped out the original wheels for a set of 87-90 black 10 holes. other than that it is all original. Please if anyone has info contact me back. |
