Default Can someone Identify this car? 1989 SSP with the rare RUST option package.

I bought the 1989 SSP Mustang that was on the Craigslist. It was less than a mile from my house and never noticed it before. It was advertised as a Conneticut State Police unit. However the DSO does not lead me to believe that. Also the car was black, not blue. It clearly was a factory black car from what im seeing on it. The DSO is 480077. It has 2 buck tags but of course I can not get to them to see them with the bumper cover on the car. Its rusty thats for sure. Its an AOD car and the car runs suprisingly well.. It has the grounding straps all over it, the relocated trunk release, certified speedo, a ticket light on the interior, oil cooler, and the word "POLICE" painted on the radiator support (??)

Any help in identifing this car or a carfax would be great. The VIN # 1FABP40E6K205920

DSO 48 is Detroit. Did MSP run unmarked??? Maybe a local agency? The bucktags might tell you more. I can't believe what that salt\weather does to cars. Good score nonetheless

way off the vin range for 89 MSP cars. run a car fax and see what you can find on it. be nice if there is a build sheet in there somewhere...
