Default Website running slow for anyone else?

Is the website running slow for anyone else? I noticed it started doing so yesterday and it does the same thing on multiple computers. Maybe all the docs uploaded to the VIN Registry, LOL.

I noticed it too. Earlier in the week I loaded an 18MB pdf file to the server (it was the 1988 CHP report to the California Legislature about the 1987 SMPV program). So I just went in and deleted the file. The slowdown may be unrelated, but I figure the file is too large to work with on most PCs anyway.

EDIT: and the site still seems a bit slow...

It's not the website.

I ran a speedtest on a couple of websites for comparison:

Fully loaded times:

Us 3.2 secs
Google 2.3 secs
Corral 20.6 secs

I'm no expert, but it still seems like the initial load time for each page is where the forum is lagging. Once the forum starts going, it loads immediately. It just takes a while to spool up. Also, the website (beyond the forum) appears to be running normal - it is just a forum issue. This may indicate that the host may have changed servers recently, causing the forum to be slower.

Yes, very slow from initial log on to simple requests for information on the message forum.
