Well good luck in your search!
That's some priceless info to acquire...
Hopefully one day soon I'll have permission to post up the GSP documents I have :-)

Default Uncovered another 1983 SSP

Thanks guys!

A few of the Marti Reports on order arrived today. The one I was most interested in was among those which were received. Specifically, it is the VIN immediately ahead of the batch of 1983 Texas DPS Mustangs (24 cars total). Those Texas DPS cars are the ending VINs in that 50-car batch of V8 notchbacks. The AutoCheck reports for those first cars in the batch were interesting, which is why we decided to run reports on the first car in the batch and the last VIN before the Texas cars. Kevin Marti confirmed that the first car in the batch was never built by Ford. However, Marti Auto was able to provide us with a Marti Report for the other VIN, which came back as a SSP -

Check out the DSO, color, and options! Very cool indeed. The car was registered through 2007 in Georgia, too.

It turns out that these cars are also SSP Mustangs:

1FACP40E7MF176449
1FACP40E3MF176450 (AutoCheck Report on MF76450.htm)
1FACP40E5MF176451 (still to be confirmed as 1st GSP in batch)

Kevin Marti confirmed that MF176450 was ordered by a dealer in Virginia through a DSO in Washington DC, but the car was shipped to a dealer in Illinois for an unknown reason.
Here is the VIN Project page on MF176449...

...which is the same DSO as MF176450. Both were shipped to the mid-west about 1 year after being ordered by the Virginia dealer, so it seems as though the cars were never purchased by the original intended buyer.

Bobby will be happy to see that we were able to confirm through Marti that MF176451 was the first VIN in the group of 1991 GSP cars...

...with MF176533 being the final GSP in that batch:

Default 1993 FHP in Royal Blue

http://www.specialservicemustang.net...info154632.htm

This one was in our VIN Project already using the FHP paperwork supplied by Jim Young. I recently found pictures of the car's VIN label and Buck Tags. Checking for the paint code(s), I noticed that this one was originally painted Royal Blue. Pretty cool to see a FHP Mustang painted this color.

Default 1990 Wisconsin (?) SSPs Added

A VIN label popped up recently for a likely (but unconfirmed) 1990 Wisconsin SSP, so we pulled a Marti Report for the next VIN. The DSO numbers matched, so we were was able to confirm both VINs as SSP Mustangs -

The 1988 CHP Mustangs are contained in a batch of 293 consecutive VINs, with the first cars being Arizona SSP Mustangs, and the last few cars in the batch being unknown. We used AutoCheck reports to identify what we believed to be the last VIN in the group of CHP Mustangs. In order to be sure, we had a Marti Report pulled on JF221638...

http://www.specialservicemustang.net...info221638.htm

...which shows a special paint car having the same DSO as other CHP Mustangs that year. We also pulled a Marti Report on the next VIN, JF221639. It is not a SSP, but it did come back as being an ascMcLaren!

Pretty cool!

On the 1985 VIN page, there is a 34-car batch of VINs containing an Oklahoma SSP, which is in our Project:

http://www.specialservicemustang.net...info197588.htm

When we ran the AutoCheck reports for that batch, we found that the first ones went to Oklahoma as expected. However, the ones at the end all went to a dealer in Omaha, Nebraska. So we pulled two Marti Reports on the last Oklahoma car and the first Nebraska car, according to AutoCheck. The final VIN from Oklahoma came back as a SSP with the same DSO as the known Oklahoma car...

http://www.specialservicemustang.net...info197602.htm

...and the next VIN came back as a SSP too -

http://www.specialservicemustang.net...info197603.htm

This car has the same DSO as the final VIN in that batch -

http://www.specialservicemustang.net...info197619.htm

So we were able to use AutoCheck to determine where the 1985 Oklahoma VINs ended and where the next SSPs (most likely Nebraska) started.

Scott recently sent us a Deluxe Marti Report to add to the page for his 1986 Texas DPS car -
