Default 5.0 Emblem Location?

My CHP should be released from paint jail this week (knock on wood). I want to make sure that I place the "5.0" emblems in the correct location on the front fenders. Does anybody have a good picture they could post up? Another possibility would be for someone to go to their car and measure the distance up from the body crease and over from the fender edge by the door. I don't want to mess up placing these emblems.

TIA!

Bill,

I hear that there are variances, but here goes:

1.5 inches from the top of the molding to the bottom of the "point" in the 5.0. 2 inches from the end of the "O" to the fender.

These are from my '93 coupe (drivers side) that I bought new.

Thanks Mike! I found a great in-service accident pic of the FHP car that showed a close-up of that panel. That, along with Mike's dimensions, will make it easy. I'll post up pics once the car is back at home showing the emblems going on.

Using these dimensions, I placed the 5.0 emblems on my CHP -

Thanks for all of the help!
