I don't have any uniform pictures, but there are (and were) plenty of women that work for both agencies.

The mother of a female detective I previously worked with is/was an FHP Trooper (she may have retired by now). She worked an pursuit-related traffic crash for me after I chased down a stolen car in 1995 or 1996. She also was driving a Mustang at the time.

Her Mustang sold at the same auction in 1997 that I bought my '93 FHP car at.

Other question, FHP cars get a number painted upon the roof.
What is this number ? When did they begin with this ?

Unit number.

Info bleow taken from this. http://www.specialservicemustang.net/FHP.htm

Most marked cars received roof numbers, after 1986 (they started sometime between 1986 and 1987) and the font and size also varied accordingly (various sizes and fonts were used). The FHP used VASCAR to work traffic, and a large part of the program involved the use of aircraft (hence the roof numbers). The unit number, which was also the license tag number, was the number placed on the roof. Roof number measurements for FHP #1187, which are pictured below and are still on the car, are as follows: 2 inches wide (stroke), 15 inches high, 5 inches between the numbers.
