Default 1984 Mustang SSP FHP

Pretty sure this mustang has been posted before on here. I picked it up earlier this summer - car is a blast. I've put about 2000 miles on it so far.

Car came with radios, loudspeaker, light bar, and decals. Not sure what I'm going to do with it or how long I'm gonna keep it but its been fun to cruise around in this summer.

Welcome to the Forum!

That's a great looking car you got there.
Really like that hood scoop and the dog dish hubcaps. Looks sexy. Was that standard back them?

Love that car! It was discussed here or FB very recently. I think regarding its whereabouts actually. From its old eBay listing, your car seems like a super nice foundation for a restoration or, as you've realized, a nice driver.

I have had success making contact with a number of retired Troopers that drove these cars in service at the FB page: Florida highway patrol friends and family. I'm sure they'd love to see it. It's also a great way to get first hand accounts and stories from those that drove them.

If and when you decide to sell, consider posting within the ssp community first. Would love to see that thing restored one day.

'79-82 only on the hood scoop. Yes on the wheels/hub caps.

Yes, I do have it up for sale now. I have a picture of the car as it was originally and the factory build sheet - the 79-82 GT hood with the scoop was not factory sadly. It's a very cool and mostly original car (drive train is untouched besides valve covers)
