Default The French Connection

Answering to Andy:
The T5 name for the Mustang was only used in Germany. The name Mustang was already a registered name used by the KHD company, a trucks and marine engines producer. The Export Division of Ford refused an agreement with KHD to buy the name, in spite of weak asked sum. (US$10000)
T5 was the code name in 62 for the Mustang project. Pull out the 8 Mustang emblems (2 fenders, 4 wheels, steering wheel, fuel cap) was a baffling problem. As others export models, the T5 where prepared with heavy duty suspension and export brace. Most of T5 still running in USA arise from GI's purchases in Germany.

Q1: no, the 79-93 Mustang are not common in France and in Europe. This car was not very popular because of his lack of character and his look ... dubious.
For us, this car as the name Mustang but not the soul. It is a quite interest for the vert.
SSP is very very rare and demand is peanut.

Q2: Scrap that, I just wanna say "hey guys !" or HOO hoo, listen to me !

Here is the stats for our club, cars per years.

No 80's Cars in your club! Pas de tout?

I know that allot is lost in Translation here!.... I also know that...You as a CAR GUY
understand All of us here....AS we Understand You (a fellow car guy)
I...... also seen NO Value in
or
had no interest in
And ....Also
seen no reason for the 80's Mustang's
until I drove one and realized these are sleeper cars.....
sleeper car = performance that is not apparent visually as a FAST Car!
sleeper car= Car that is not Fast or performance in appearance but is Fast!
sleeper car =car that looks like a car that has a 1.3 Liter
but has a much larger Motor 5.0 or greater!
You need a 80's Mustang in France !!!!!!!!! And a SSP Police car would
be really cool!
