Default 1992 Nebraska SSP

Year: 1992 SSP
Engine: 5.0 V8 h.o. (high output)
Miles: 143k
Body: white notchback coupe
Wheels: cobra r

For sale is my 1992 mustang ssp. It's an ex Nebraska state patrol car. I bought the car in February of 2010. After that we tore the car down, sanded it, repaired all the metal, filled holes from the antennas and spotlight and repainted it in factory ford white. I bought a new hood, fender and headlights. I also installed a new windshield.
We did the same with the interior. We filled all the computer holes in the dash and re-dyed the dash and door panels. I put in new carpet, floor mats and many many other new parts. See below for a list.
It currently has a nice stereo in it but I'm going to be removing it. I can leave it in for an extra $500.
I haven't done anything to the motor since I bought it. The previous owner did some good things though. Those included:
TFS Track Heat upper and lower intake
Magnaflow exhaust
World class T-5 tranny
Centerforce dual friction clutch
K&N filter
Steeda underdrive pullies
Steeda stainless steel brake sleeves
Pro 5.0 shifter
Other than those items the motor is stock and still runs very strong.
I also put in a new fuel pump and battery in it a few months ago.
I'd like to get about $7,500 for it but will consider offers. I've put a lot of time and money into this car.
It has taken first place in the 79 - 93 Mustang class at the one car show I entered it in.
Please let me know if you have any questions about the car or if you'd like to see other pictures.

Nice looking SSP! Good luck with the sale.

Mike, Jim, Bernie, and Gregg - IMO this would be a good candidate for what we talked about in the barn last week in terms of doing an authentic factory restoration. Granted, the all-white paint has less "pop" than other agencies, but much of the interior has been redone already, and the go-fast parts could be sold off. I don't think anyone else has done the type of restoration yet that we discussed.
