I knew you were the one to ask. Now that the remaining CHP Assignment Cards have been destroyed , it will next to impossible to match the VINs to unit numbers. So being able to confirm any more CHP cars like this will be 'bonus'!

Rob N. now owns the 1985 CHP Mustang that had been owned by Jim B. up until last year as I recall. Rob recently shared an in-service photo on FB that I had never seen before of E408382, which is the second photo displayed below. The first photo was posted up of the same car earlier in this thread, but in an entirely different situation.

Darryl Lindsay shared two photos on FB of the single 1984 CHP Specially Marked Patrol Vehicle (SMPV) that was used in the first phase of the program. The rest of the SMPV Mustangs were 1985 models that first time.
