Default My New Project 1988 SSP Notchback

I just purchased this 1988 SSP Notchback for a bargain price...I just need to fix the AOD transmission. I really don't think the tranny is broken since it was recenlty rebuilt about 8 months ago.. I think the shift linkage is broken. When I move the shifter to "reverse" nothing happens not even the rear back up lights turn on. Can someone help...

No, The DSO tags say "00" which indicate "Special" and "83" which make this car a "government" SSP...

None of the gears work at all. Is still think the shift linkage is broken...Gotta get a second opinion.

It's one or the other, I've never seen 2 DSO designations. The DSO should be 6 digits if it's an SSP. 2 digits (the DSO) followed by the 4 digit order number.

One thing about those AOD's is if the TV cable isn't adjusted right. It will burn the trans up.
