Reverse light wigwag
Since I don not know which wigwags were used on Louisiana SSP's, I have decided to use a period solid state Roadrunner piece, like the neighboring state of a Texas. My question is what to use for the reverse lights. Will the same Roadrunner operate them, or does it need to be a different system?

My 89 Michigan car alternated reverse light wig wag with rear deck light wig wags. You should be able to use one W/W for both light circuits.

Good idea. Will that work with the strobe function of the Dashmasters?

no. the dashmasters have an internal power source that dictates operation. You will need a separate wig wag for the back up lights. Some agencies also used the brake lights in conjunction with the back up lights in a wig wag pattern.

The troopers I have been in contact with remember the back up lights, but I need to check the tail light wiring for any alterations. The bad thing is the car was also used at the parish level, and they installed their own equipment and lights, meaning I have holes everywhere.
