I put the interior back in today but it was too late for pics. I steam cleaned the carpet and it cleaned up nicely. I will post more tomorrow.

Great job on saving the car !!! and the progress..
I just got all interior back in mine , when i took it apart it had some mismatched non mustang screws on interior panels so i ordered all the correct screws , looks sweet now !
My headliner has not come in yet ??? My son and i did our first ever mustang cruise to South Padre Island today , GREAT TIME !!!
we took the USPS SSP , it performed like a true stallion !
some pics of the interior clean up job , it's a 159k mile interior !

Yours cleaned up nice.
My interior was surprisingly complete and clean. The carpet cleaned up OK and luckily my headliner is in very good shape.

I still have a lot of cleaning to do but the interior is done for now. I have never seen vinyl interior like this before so I'm wondering if the seats were recovered at some point. However, it does look like Opal grey.
Anyway, it has some transmission issues I need to address to get it in drivable condition. Here are a few pics from how it sits this morning.

Is that grass outside on the ground? I haven't seen grass in about 2 weeks (we got 4 feet of snow from two storms in the last 10 days). I forgot what grass looks like.

Nice looking SSP, btw!

Never seen Vinyl seats like that before ?????
are they correct for the car ?? when i had my interior out the front seats have little metal tags with mustang #'s ..
these tags are on the seat base wire mesh , my old 67 fastback had those
tags also with correct date code.

Yes, the tags were wired in to the bottom of the seats. I spoke to the deputy the car was assigned to and he confirmed the seats were recovered. Whoever did it did a nice job though.
