Default 1993 coupe on ebay

I found this while searching Dailylister for "SSP Mustang" -

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1993-Ford-Mu...25.m3641.l6368

VIN = 1FACP40E8PF215957

Quote:
1993 Mustang SSP LX, coupe. 42,343miles; based on carfax these are not the original miles; Original milage on chassis closer to 95,000. However, was told by prior owner all the performance upgrades were done less than 10,000 miles ago. I have only put a few hundred miles on it since I had it. I was told it was never in snow/salt (and it looks it). Only selling due to a purchase of a 1985 Mustang SVO with 16,000 orignial miles on it.

-Silver exterior, w/ charcoal+black tweed interior. Interior original and excellent condition. Car was professionally built and tuned by Larrocca’s Performance (NJ) and featured in 5.0 Mustang magazine. Note in photos, the begining of the article shows a Cobra intake on the car, during the article it is replaced with a Holley SysteMax II upper intake, which you can see in the photo on the last page of the article and is what is still on the car today. The article is from 2004 and resulted in 78 additional horsepower and 47 additional lb-ft of torque yielding (at that time in) 507.3 hp and 432.2 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels. Additional tuning resulted in a final of 518 hp and 453.1 lb-ft of torque.

-Factory 5 speed car, z-spec t-5 transmission, super king cobra clutch, hurst short throw shifter, 3.73 rear end gear.

-Full high performance suspension, Lakewood shocks/struts, aftermarket upper/lower control arms. Moroso drag springs w/ airbag.

-New 17 x 8.5 chrome 93 cobra wheels with 275 M/T Drag Radials.

- BBK longtube headers, Mac offroad x-pipe, w/ flowmaster catback, stainless tips,

-DSS level 2 306 shortblock w/ main girdle, f-303 camshaft, 1.6 FMS roller rockers, Holley systemax 2 upper/lower intake manifold, 70mm throttlebody and egr delete.

-AFR 185 cylinder heads, Paxton Novi 2000 supercharger with renegade bracket s and 10 rib renegade drive system (13psi), ceramic coated oem valvecovers.

-Stainless braided AN line breather system, MSD 6al/btm Ignition box, MSD Pro-billet 5.0 distributor, Anderson ford power pipe with 80mm mass air.

-Car was dynoed at 518 hp at the rear wheels on Larrocca’s dyno.

SSP information; note that this car's VIN IS listed as a real SSP Mustang via the link:

Special Service Mustangs, also referred to as SSP Mustangs, were made from 1982-1993. The California Highway Patrol started things off in 1982, with their search for suitable high-speed, enforcement-class vehicles. CHP specifically requested Mustangs from Ford for their rigorous testing, and Ford supplied them with at least one "police demo" Mustang coupe. Several other agencies, including the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Arizona Department of Public Safety, also evaluated 1982 Mustang coupes. All of the test vehicles predate the SSP option being available, so none of these Mustang test cars were equipped with the SSP option. The results of testing by these agencies, customer input, and recommendations from corporate engineers and lawyers were taken into consideration by Ford to finalize the options in the Special Service Package.
The seller sent me a photo of the VIN label and the car is not a SSP. He said he would be changing the description in his ebay listing.

Job job, Bill. Are you going to make a notation for that VIN on the 1993 VIN Project page that it is not an SSP?
