Does anyone know if the Buick's were real issue or made just for the show?

Does anyone recognize where the opening road block scene for each show was shot at? The freeway looks pretty big for 1955.

The show ran from 55-59. I was 7 when it ended but can remember one show where a killer asks Crawford "What will I get?. Crawford answers "What did Timmy's father get! That stuff makes an impression on a 7 year old.
