Nice car. Seeing the steering column shroud in the one pic, it looks like they sprayed the interior black. Looked like they may have done the rear seat too. At least it appears to all be there.

Congrats! It looks to be a solid car. We will have to add it to our VIN Project.

got this from marti works;
We are working on the Vehicle Certification Label for your vehicle: 1FABP10F6CF213105. We need the weight information from your original door tag to complete the order. Can you please respond with one of the following options:

1) Please provide a picture of your original VCL (preferred)

2) Give us the GVWR, GAWR Front, GAWR Rear, the reserve weights (F0000/R0000) as well as the spring codes (after the TRANS code) as they appear on your original tag.

3) If your tag is missing or damaged, you can authorize us to estimate these weights based on similar vehicles.

Your order will be on hold until we hear back from you.

Thank you,

Marti Auto

my tag is gone, along with its original door so i cant answer these questions. could someone post a photo from their 82 ssp?

Thanks for posting that, Bobby. Here is a link to the 1982 page in the VIN Project -

CF213275 also had a pretty clear shot of its VIN label too.

wrong front seats
c4?? but comes with a fresh t5 setup minus clutch and flywheel
all black paint
open holes for a pillar lights
visible holes filled on left rear quarter and roof, what light would have been on the roof?
no rust

some sheetmetal replaced as i found evidence of a minor fender bender on the front right corner. So hood has scoop but is not correct underneath. someone painted the gauge bezel black
includes an 8.8 fox rear axle

anyway, lots of potential. I am not planning a full on resto but would like to to be close to oe minus the markings.

is the trunk lid supposed to be white or black?

pics to come when i pick it up.
Hello Stormy,

As I recall, none of the CHP 1982 Mustangs had roof-mounted lights, they were all "slicktops".
There was a small (about 14" tall) whip antenna mounted in the center rear of the roof, I believe that was for the scanner.

Steve
