I have a 1990 Ford Mustang 5.0 SSP, Ex Florida Highway Patrol Car. It has the buck tags stapled to the front radiator core support still, also has the certified calibration 160 mph speedometer(only ssp cars had these). It has grey interior, a 5 Speed t5 transmission, air conditioning, power locks, power windows, power mirrors. This served its whole life in Florida, so there is no rust, the engine is strong, doesnt leak oil, however the car is pretty rough, the car was originally black with beige on the roof, and trunk, at one point in time before I bought it, it was painted red, then repainted back to all black, the underside of the trunk lid is still the original beige. The Drivers door is dented, and window will not roll down(windows are electric...probably needs a new motor, these are prone to going out), the transmission will need the first and second gear synchronizers replaced, as it grinds in between those gears, the carpet needs replaced, for the right price I have BRAND NEW ACC carpet I could include with the car, and the front seats could either use a good cleaning, or replaced, the back seat is not bad.

With all this said, this is a pretty rare notchback mustang with all the SSP goodies on the car, the engine is strong, with no leaks, it has the option to be a really nice SSP with drivers door replaced, some new paint, trans synchronizers replaced, and some good cleaning, the body of the car is pretty straight, wouldnt take much body work, other than paint stripping.

In my eyes(I have had plenty of Fox Body Mustangs), there would be a few options...

1- Maybe you have a parts car, and you could just swap your good parts onto this car, do a nice paint job on it, and restore it to a nice clean SSP notch.

2- It would also make a perfect base for a circle track, or SCCA race car, or 1/4 mile drag car.

3- Take your time, and fix it up to have a nice street car.

Pros:

Strong Mass air 5.0 Engine, body is straight, original 5 speed, grey interior car with lots of options, new MSD blaster coil, flowmaster mufflers, with dumps, shiftlight tach.

If interested, email me, Text me, or call 720-275-3108

$3000.00 OBO, ready to deal!

Hope option #2 isn't in this car's future.
