Default 1990 GSA on CL in AZ

https://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/p...106687571.html

Quote:
1990 Mustang 5.0 - $8400 (Peoria)

condition: salvage
SSP car buck tag on support (DEA,FBI) no lights
5.0 with 5spd 3:73 rear
Five lug Eibach lowering springs
Trick flow intakes Ford X heads (iron) Ford B 303 cam car lopes like crazy
BBk cold air BBK throttle body
MSD dist/ignition electric fan
JBA long tube headers with flowmaster cat back
Short shifter. Gauges. Aftermarket stereo.
Honest car not a $25k plus show car but very reliable. Dyno at 309 WHP w/previous owner

I was not able to pull up the seller's phone number (please post it if you don't get the same error message). I'm sure the salvage title is the reason for the relatively reasonable asking price. I would consider it myself if my circumstances were right. Since it has a 5-lug swap, I'd slap some 16" CVPI wheels/dogdish on it, remove the dark tint, change the exhaust/tips, and call her done.

The same CL ad now has the car listed for $12K. Raising your price is an interesting tactic when selling something. Plus his phone number still won't display.

Thanks for posting the phone number. I know there are members looking for SSPs, so anything we can do here to help them is a huge benefit to the site.

Gentlemen,
Reference the initial selling price being somewhat low.
That Mustang may be without Cats. I have never seen long tube headers with Cats (but I haven't seen everything yet). It is for sale in a County (one of three in Arizona) that requires that if the car was built new with Cats it has to have them still installed and pass a Smog test, biennially. No matter how old. So, if a buyer lives in one of those Counties, there will be another additional cost to make it street legal.

They've been making "short" midpipes with cats for longtubes for some time now.

Yep. I have BBK LTs on my Cobra w/BBK catted short mid-H pipe (and a BBK off-road pipe).
