They asked if they could auction it off at our annual show. Without knowing anything other than it was a Mustang, the club agreed. We learned it was a '79 Pace Car on the day of the show when they arrived. It was expressed they may be able to get $1,000 for it. The high bid on the car was $550. My father and I felt obligated to get them to the $1,000 they had in mind, so we bought it for $1,000.

It is an original 302-2bbl, 4-speed. The car was rough, but everything was there, except the metric TRX wheels. Here are some before and after pictures.
Jonathon, I have a Pace Car 'registry' online @ http://foxchassis.com/fep/registry/pc If your PC is not listed I would like to add it. I collect VIN, door tag, buck tag, build sheet, window sticker, etc., and also mileage and options. Options list is @ http://foxchassis.com/fep/registry/pc/options Thanks.

Looking good! Just found out this evening, I'll be including my MSP Mustang in the 2017 Woodward Dream Cruise Automotive Roadshow TV Program (yes the local TV stations broadcast from the Woodward Dream Cruise and have local programming related to the Woodward Dream Cruise...it's a HUGE event). Will be a nice opportunity for further positive public relations on our great SSP passion!

Thank you, Jonathon! Built at San Jose Assembly. That helps a lot. I don't have many San Jose tags. Will add the tags to the database and registry.

http://foxchassis.com/fep/registry/pc/options

Does it have any of those options? From the door and buck tag it does not have factory A/C. From the buck tag it does not have defrost.

Hi Mick, it's no problem at all. I know it does not have factory A/C or defrost. I'm almost certain I have the Marti report on it in our file. I'll try to remember and look over the weekend.
