5 speed problem. Help.
I have owned my mustang for only a couple of months and was told the clutch was replaced. I recently was driving the car and could not get it to move out from fouth gear. I pushed in the clutch and shut the car off. I then started it from a stop in fourth and onced I got some speed going the shifter became free again. I am not having any grinding problems What could this be?

If it was a bad clutch it would slip. You never said what happened after that, was it a fluke thing or is it still getting stuck in 4th?

Still need a little more info...But one thing to check would be the clutch cable. Make sure it is free and not stuck or getting caught on something. Even so though you should have been able to get it out of the gear, just not into any others.
