Best of luck. The automatic and unmarked should work in your favor pricewise.

well at the risk of being removed from the membership...i bought a 1992 strawberry red 5.0 automatic notchback coupe.....but not an ssp car. already scored a set of 10 hole wheels to replace the ponies. just could not resist the idea of a 45000 mile coupe which looked better than the pics. brought the car home this morning and will set about to make it appear as a ssp...yes i know it isnt! please bear with me im old....75years old!!! i want it to look like the cop car in the last pic...

That looks like a nice find! Can you confirm the last 6 digits of the VIN? I know it's not a SSP, but we also make note of VINs that are not SSPs when they are part of an existing batch. Please keep us posted on your progress with the new ride.

evidently the previous owner did not do his homework on mileage. the car rolled over 69000 kilometers on the way home....the car was sold in canada.....so it actually had less than 43000 miles. the car was brought to south carolina and left at a summer home to be driven only when the owner visited. consequently, from 1992-2012 the car was only driven 9000 miles!! the second owner used the car for a daily commute of about 100 miles and added another 33000 miles in two and a half years.. the car is even nicer than the pictures. a couple of rock chips on the hood and the center console armrest pad has the catch broken....new one on the way. the spare had never been used. very pleased and run good!
