Default Question on headlight replacement

the green FHP that I have had TOASTED headlights, they were like waterfalls inside when it rained. Question is should I get the 50 Resto kit with non ford headlights for less money, are they any good? Or pay 50 or so dollars more for the kit with the ford headlights. The bumper cover is repainted, so I will look pretty good with new lights when finished. Thanks for in put.

The quality of the Ford lights makes the difference, you will be happier (and poorer ) with them.

Get the OEM Ford ones... The Repop ones suck!

late model restoration supply offers a "deluxe kit" which they say incledes the seals, backing plates and bulbs. I was going to go with this...anyone know if this kit is crappy as well?

Go Ford OE all the way with those units, you'll never regret it!

They are very similar but not right... There is a metal deflector inside the LMR ones that fell off 2 weeks after I installed them and is to large to pull through the bulb hole so it was just rattling around in the healidht housing.

They are good for a non-show or restoration quality car but I will always from now on go with OEM Ford units.

Not nearly as bright a picture as Michaels but this is the deluxe kit installed that day the picture was taken.
