My 1991 SSP began it's service life with the Georgia State Patrol. After that it was surplused to a state university until 2006 and then sold at a state auction.

Welcome to the site Jeremy. It will be interesting to learn the history on how it became a college SSP.

Thanks for the feedback, I do know for a fact that the University purchased my SSP brand knew and that it had never served at any other agency. The current Chief of Police was there back when it was initially purchased and luckily had a handfull of pics and a couple pieces of paperwork left.

If the Chief is kind enough to give you those pictures, I hope that you will share them here.

Maybe I missed it, but are you planning to restore the car to its in-service configuration?

I have about 10 great pictures of it. The Chief of Police there was great and spent about two weeks trying to find anything he could on it. The car remains totally stock and is Titanium Gray with Gray interior. The car has never been wrecked. I have not decided what route to go with this car just yet as far as going back with the original look or not. Been trying to research in finding what came in this car and how it was set up on the inside. The car did have dual spot lights with a lightbar. I will try to get some pics posted soon.

Can you post up any pics of it (when it was at the University and current day)?

Did the University put any logos and/or lettering on the vehicle when it was being used by them on Campus?
