M7-522
Well come next week this one is going to a new owner. I have informed him of this site. I have take the time to cut and weld the new sheet metal onto the fron of the car and it is looking a lot better than it has in the last 11 years I have had it stored.
Take a look...

That's it for now. While posting this the new owner txt and asked me not to fill the spotlight hole or antenna hole. He likes the SSP look and will keep it civilian with spotlight mounted and plug the antenna hole and enjoy the rarity that is the SSP... Look for him to possibly pop on here and keep everyone up to date with the car as he gets it back running again...

I also did take a lot of pictures of the mounting holes for equipment in this car before putting everything back in it.
There are a lot of holes in the trunk where the radio equipment was. Also all the holes in the top of the dash as well as the side of the center console coming from the top of the dash. Just if anyone wants or needs them for any reason.

Since I didn't put it anywhere yet.
This is an 87 Texas Department of Public Safety car (M7-522) Ex-Tx DPS State Trooper! White hood, roof and trunk lid remainder black. Only year that got the 1 drivers side spotlight, blue hoses and manual mirrors. The rest was: single key lock set black wheels ground supression straps on everything most all that I have seen were slick top but have heard there were at least 2 that were light bar cars and used for recruiting. this is 1 of I believe 122 cars ordered by Texas in 1987 Please correct me if I am wrong too... See the restoration doc for all the Texas specific equipment.
