Default 1982 GL "like SSP"

Seller states it was a Florida Highway Patrol, but I doubt it. I sent a short email telling him about the Vin project and that we collect data info from the cars. Hopefully he'll respond, I am just curious, since it has the scoop and the 5.0 didn't come with one, other than SSPs. I am just curious lol

Hood scoop was standard with 5.0L engine, regardless of which model or body it came in.

FHP didn't have 82's. It must be another "prototype".

Sam, let us know if the seller shares any proof about it having been used by the FHP. VIN label and Buck Tag info would be great too.

Seller's Description and Comments
1982 Mustang GL 5.0 Coupe. This car was the same style and model used by the Florida Highway Patrol for years. 121,409 original miles by the original owner. Everything is original, runs very strong! I was going to restore to factory specs but had a baby at 47, no time now. The car has normal wear and tear for an 1982 but runs very very strong and fast. Ive kept it in my barn for 15 years!

The seller is not claiming it is an SSP car, only that it is similar to the cars they used (which is correct).
