Default Another ssp'er landed a J>O>B

I got a job! I got a job! I got a job!I got a job! I got a job!

Well after 6 mths of many hurdles!!! and struggles !! and even a massive ID confusion that led to Halliburton making a withdraw on my job offer.....
I finally got the ID issue cleared and the official call came before noon wed.

Talk about a major relief!!! I have never missied a beat working since my tech school back in 86 and off I went into the Automotive field.
This job is a MAJOR change for my fam and I as I will be in the oil fields working for Halliburton and gone LOTS from home.

There has been small talk here at home that if this position came through we might part with both ssp's and make 1 purchase of a DONE or almost done ssp as there will be almost NO time to tinker with the 2 we have..??? or restore with the work schedule.
A 93 DPS is still a MUST have for us at some point!

I would like to thank this great site for keeping me occupied and NOT loosing my mind during these months off work!!!

I START ON MONDAY !!!!

Congratulations on the job. That is great to hear in this economy that people will be able to find work. The oilfields are a breed all their own and I wish you luck and success!

As for the cars, I also wish you success. There are cars out there but not many that are done without problems. I've been a busy guy myself in the last few years and you might have to figure if you cannot find what you want, you might find that the cars you have can be done up and if you have someone to trust to work on them it might work out for the best.

Good luck again and happy news!

Thanks but no thanks. I've had enough with refineries and oil for now - it's all your fun now.
