I found this pic online of a 85 CHP buck tag -
EDIT: Sorry for the large pic - it wasn't that big where I found it Sadly, the only thing left in that position on my car is an open screw hole. Guess my 2nd tag is MIA :-(

Our door tags are the same minus the VIN. Our interior is Charcoal Gray but the headliner and rug is light gray. The visors are charcoal. Don't know why CHP or Ford used to types of Gray in the interior.

Thanks again guys!
I gotta say, I am really starting to get a kick outa driving this thing. It really doesn't look like much now, but it gives a great vibe while rowing the gears and hearing the exhaust note. It is temperental (carbed motor in 40* weather), rough (could be the front struts), and uncivilized - and I love it! Say, I forgot to ask the seller, but here's a REALLY simple question - What grade of gasoline does this 5.0L burn? I topped off last night with 93 octane, just to be safe.

On all police cars I have driven, SSP included, I have always used 87 without a problem. I believe their computers have always been programed for 87 octane on police vehicles.

HAPPY DAY!!!
Well, I took the car through DMV today, and it passed inspection YEA!!! So now another SSP is legally back on the road.
I also applied for my vanity tag. Hope y'all like it - NPRSUIT Damn this car is fun!
