Default Newly found chassis markings

My MN SSP has been up on a lift at my storage facility for 2 years now, and yesterday after putting the NHP SSP away for the winter I decided to check out the underside of the chassis of the MN SSP with a flashlight. I found "POLICE" hand painted in 3 places! On the inside of each side of the rear subframe, as well as on the floor pan behind the driver's seat. I did not have my camera with me, so no pictures at this time. It is painted with tan paint and resembles the "POLICE" that was painted on a steel plate which was found under the driver's seat by Mike P. when he owned the car. Has anyone else found this on their SSPs?
