I have the same light with a different bracket, no place for the mirror. Whatever was in my car was 8 inches wide though directly between the visors. Tried to attach a few pics.

I have a bracket for it, but it doesnt line up with the holes in the headliner. The holes I have are eight inches apart. Any ideas??

If his is the "right" bracket, maybe you could fab one up (if he provides the dimensions).

No idea unless like many other applications, the CHP fabricated their own bracket for the car. If the holes are directly above the mirror, then I would use a mirror light like the ones that have been pictured. If the holes are to the right of the mirror I would use a light mounted in that location that does not relocate the rear view mirror.
