I had some mixed for a '92 I did a few years ago...came out perfect, but definitely hard to match if the interior is faded at all. If the console has holes drilled in it, they can be filled/fixed pretty easily. I paid a service that does local used cars for dealerships to do mine. They filled them and even got the texture correct. I literally couldn't tell where the repair was.

Thanks Mike! I'm also glad to finally meet. It'll be good putting the faces with the screen names.

Oh, I thought you were referencing the "color in a can" dyes. I really want to get another one though since he's modified the radio opening for an aftermarket stereo.

These are in cans...just custom mixed.

My car had an aftermarket stereo also, but it was just a bezel with 4 holes in the console. Yours must be worse.

Yeah I was thinking about the over the counter cans. The custom stuff surely would be better.

Yeah, he put 4 huge screw holes to outer edge after cutting it some. Also, while doing his modifying, he caused part of the back to crack that helps hold the cage for the radio. Just not in the best shape anymore.

Brad, the car is looking great! You've come a long way with it.

Thanks Bill! The engine bay and undercarriage are still unrestored but the rest of it is presentable haha. She's in much better shape than she was!

Nothing wrong with that! Hard enough getting cars that have been through the paces over the past 20+ years to that point as it is.

Thanks Mike! I plan to go much further on the restorations of the Bama and Nevada in the future. And maybe down the road at least restore the engine bay on the FHP.
