Geez... I haven't even introduced the Spydar® MIS® system to this area here!?
The car was hooked and sent to get a usable tire and fluids changed. I want to make sure I have a reliable car available! That portion should be done as I get back from Michigan. |

Did some digging around the car today...
Could not find the roll bar mounting points for some reason!? Looks like the support was being removed too for some reason... However did find the demarkation of the line for the white roof though... Looked at the damage around the battery tray and have to say that it's battery acid... Started looking for the build sheet too... ...marks from the trunk lip mounted antenna... .....found the catalytic recall so it's already been changed.. more to come... just got to do some honey do's now... |

If a Setina roll bar mount, you should have two to three holes from the lower mounts where the floor pan wells come up right in front of the lower part of the rear seat.
And they would have had L shaped brackets that would have gone over the seatbelt bolt up on the trim panel of the B pillar along with two screw holes such as this:

Is that a partition bracket?

It is. Shot when we mounted up my 87 with one. They used it both with the roll bars and the partitions.

Very cool information Ryan. I have to look more closely...
Nope, not there. I see no indication that this specific car had a roll bar in it. Looks like the carpet was sprayed black too... I also have to wonder if the radio was mounted where the AM/FM radio should have been too? Demarkation on the passenger side was not as pronounced but is there... Also found where it ran up over something too.. Now I have to figure if I can even use the exhaust system that is on it at all... I do have another one though... Even have the catalytics too... So what say you? Should I go with "offroad" or not?? |

... oh yeah, forgot to mention it... It's getting worked on mechanically right now...
Exhaust will be put on and a temporary tire to get the car to roll around for now. New tires will be on it after the paint and body work get done... |

More research...
No roll bar apparent in this car... and it has mudflaps too. Makes me wonder... |

I say factory exhaust. Just looks better IMO.
I spy a 71 GTO in the mech. shop photo and that shift knob is a keeper |
