More research leads me to believe this car was a LoJack car operating out of Tallahassee, not the fhp432 car, or the FHP LoJack car pictured in real stories with the roof number ending in 99...but rather was likely unit 0048 operating out of the Tallahassee area and equipped with LoJack.......the search for more history continues..

After speaking with trooper hidalgo who drove this car in miami, the car was involved in two minor collisions and is the first fhp lojack car. This one was the first, and #432 was the second. These two cars were the "beta test" cars. By the time of filming, Trooper Ralph Lolas car (also pictured in real stores of the highway patrol) was also equipped with lojack, as were some others. This was confirmed directly with trooper Lola.
Neat stuff.
