So I have struggled to get the car's emissions in check these past couple of months. FINALLY, I found a shop who knew how to get these 5.0Ls to pass, and today was able to get the tags renewed for another 2 years:
I was planning to get Antique plates for the car, but after waiting an hour in line today, I got to the counter only to hear that they needed the title in order to process the Antique plates. I decided to just go for the 2-year renewal and be done with it. When the time rolls around in 2015 to get the tags redone, I will just take it into the same shop for them to (de-)tune it for inspection. Hope the weather holds out this week - I'd like to put some miles on my refreshed SSP.
