NICB
Hello all, new to forum and to ssp mustangs. But dang they are cool cars. Looking at purchasing one (or said to be one), ran a carfax on the license plate and vin number and originally ordered by NICB. I notice quite a few have this as the original owner. What is that? I understand the acronym (national insurance crime bureau). Were these considered ssp mustangs? Any info would be greatly appriciated, thanks

I'm glad ^^^you^^^ chimed in Mick! I meant to send you a note on this thread. I was not sure of the correct answer, so I've kept my mouth shut.

First time I read the thread I thought the NICB bought and used SSPs. When I read this thread a second time I realized this was the first entry at the top of a lot of CF reports.
That first entry just means Ford reported manufacture and shipment of the vehicle to the ordering dealer. It does not mean that NICB was the first registered owner. |
