Need estimated value on 84 CHP
Greetings all,
Looking to purchase Unit 2748 per VIN registry. Bodies is decent, needs minor work due to dents and dings. Engine runs but feels under powered, and has exhaust leak. Speedo doesn't work and odometer shows 209k miles. Interior is original but carpet, headliner needs to be replace and seats recovered. Rear axle was converted to five lugs, original equipment was discarded. Seller wants $3500, is asking price reasonable. Need some informed feedback. Thank you |

That is probably a good asking prize (meaning he may take an offer for less). The 84 CHP cars, for whatever reason, are not as plentiful as the 85 CHP cars, despite there being nearly 100 more of the 84s ordered. If the car is worth that much to you, then it is worth getting (regardless of the price).
