Wow, first '92 Camaro I've seen with the older style font decals used back there. I'm not sure those taller, "straight leg R" decals were reflective. Compare them to the later style shorter, fatter and "curved leg R" sets and also with the placement of them on these other units-the two words are farther apart: Ryan Briceland's restored '92: I wonder if there was a decal replacement done in the field for this unit at some point in it's career. I've seen it happen where long obsolete decals were put on newer units as replacements by field techs who had them lying on the shelf. Example from 2009, older ones are on the closest CV: |

Interesting to see - and yes, GREAT pics!! I am over the moon pumped up to see these. Many thanks, John T!
As for the decals and placement. Who knows...maybe they were replaced in the field? Maybe it was the first one to be outfitted and they changed them after? Who knows?

Exactly......... who knows ? We can look at the photos John T posted, and I can duplicate them for your car Ryan.
It is odd to see different style lettering, but the average person wouldn't know or care or even tell the difference lol Nice car !
